Meadowgreen Dog Rescue Centre
Initially we are putting dogs on a 2 week trial basis to ensure all is well and the dog gets on well in your home before full adoption. If after the 2 week trial period has elapsed and there are no issues we will get in contact for you to fully sign up for the dog. If there are any initial issues we will fully assist you through these and help with anything you need regarding this. Betty was brought into the centre in August via our stray dog service.
Many work as PAT dogs and some can live happily with cats. We still have many cats and dogs needing homes of their own and we are continuing to rescue. We will take animal adoption appointments to view potential pets but this will be by an appointment only basis, and only to people who are symptom free. These appointments will be held in a controlled manner to minimise risk. Rehoming centres are often looking for dog walkers to help walk their dogs. If you have some spare time this can be a very rewarding activity, for both you and the dog!
CARE Dog Rescue
Dogs have also been proven to ease tension both at the office and between married couples. PACT Animal Sanctuary is open for viewing animals Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 12 noon - 3.30pm or by appointment. It costs the branch approximately £500 per dog to rehabilitate and rehome and they are responsible for raising funds locally which they do through their charity shops, fundraising, donations and legacies. They are always grateful for any donated goods to keep their shops well stocked. My lovely Blue Miniature Daschund named Isabella has had an outstanding litter of all Blue and Tan Miniature Daschund puppies. Mum is in excellent health and is well mannered, Dad is a beautiful Isabella... Since Covid-19 we have adapted and changed the way we rehome and adopt our animals.
